The club was started when 2 ten year old girls tried boccia in the Surrey Youth Games in 2004 and loved playing a competitive sport. They wanted to carry on but found no clubs existed in the local area, so with the help of an Awards for All grant Boccia Epsom and Ewell was born.
Very quickly they were joined by others, the youngest being 6 and all of them have continued to demonstrate a passion for the sport. Nearly 8 years on the club is thriving, members from all over the South East have heard about the club from friends and come along to play high quality boccia, meet friends and have fun.
The club is proud of every player and celebrates everyone's achievements, in 2012 a total of 15 club players entered regional competitions, 7 took part in national competitions and 2 in internationals. Well done to them all!
